STEINER, Anne, 80, of Weirton, died Sunday, April 22, 2012, in the Life Line Hospital, Steubenville, Ohio.
Born on Aug. 17, 1931, in Weirton, W.Va., Anne was a daughter of the late Michael and Viola Mazur Sikora.
Anne was employed with C & P Telephone Co. for 20 years as an operator and frame attendant and Weirton Medical Center for 20 years in the medical records department.
Anne enjoyed gardening and she had a great love for animals. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, PNA and Telephone Pioneers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Steiner on March 11, 2005; infant son, Eric; four brothers, Michael, Jerry, Walter, Ed, and Joe Sikora; three sisters, Jenny Binkowski, Delores Watson, and Adele Sikora.
She is survived by her two sons, Kurt Steiner of Weirton and Eric Steiner of New Manchester, W.Va.; daughter, Desiree Steiner Hayes (Curtis) of Marietta, Ga.; a granddaughter, Haylianne Murray (Matt) and great-grandchildren, Madison and Max.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, W.Va.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, W.Va. Rev. Fr. Dean Borgmeyer will preside.
Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
