KIDDER, Helen M., 85, of Wellsville, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
She was born Aug. 22, 1926, in Salineville, the daughter of the late Ross and Nora (Lewis) Catlett.
Helen graduated from Wellsville High School in 1945. She was a member of Eastern Star as well as a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Toronto. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
Helen was preceded in death in January 1995, by her husband, Raymond Kidder, whom she married Oct. 11, 1945.
Survivors include one daughter: Saundra Tiedemann and her husband Donald of Brownsburg, Ind.; one son: Spencer Kidder of Wellsville; six grandchildren: Don, Connie, and J.R. Tiedemann, Michael and Jason Kidder, and Jessica (Kidder) Hackney; and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death on March 23, 2012, by her son, Jay Kidder. She was also preceded in death by one sister: Mabel Smith; and four brothers: Fred, Bruce, Ed, and Bill Catlett.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Bongart of the church officiating.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St., in Wellsville.
