To the editor:
On July 8 at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville, there was a great benefit for the Jefferson County Animal Welfare League.
Janet Polverini, chairperson and fundraiser, did a very fantastic job. She has everything donated several months ahead of time. I asked Janet how she did this, and her response was, "One prayer and one donation at a time." Janet helps not just the animals, she visits hospitals and nursing homes, too. I will be attending all her benefits because she puts 100 percent of her heart in charities that she helps. It also helps the community.
Polverini deserves to be a community star.
Also, a cowboy hat off to Todd Piergallini. The dinner was excellent and fantastic.
