The Holy Greek Orthodox Church of Steubenville’s Philoptochos Society held its kickoff meeting of the year. The members donated $100, which will be given to the ALIVE shelter. The Alternatives to Living in Violent Environments nonprofit agency offers emergency sheltering, court and legal advocacy, a 24-hour crisis hotline and support groups, among other means of assistance.
