The GFWC 119th-annual West Virginia State Convention was held March 21-23 at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs. Wendy Carriker, GFWC president-elect, served as the keynote speaker. The convention included bylaw changes and clubs receiving awards for outstanding volunteer work in their communities. Members wore purple in observance of Domestic Violence and Prevention Day on March 21 and the topic of Advocates for Children was featured March 22. Past state presidents and lifetime members were recognized during the convention.
