Four facing drug charges
BSTEUBENVILLE — Four people are facing drug charges after the Jefferson County Drug Task Force executed warrants Monday at three locations in Steubenville.
Charges are pending against:
• Andre Hython, 60, 411 Henry Ave., felony charges of possession of drugs with a major drug offender specification and possession of drugs.
• Aaron Loveless, 41, 1221 Oak Grove Ave., felony possession of drugs and having a weapon under disability.
• Ashley Martin, 33, and Christopher Prentice, 35, both of 416 Adams St. Prentice is facing two felony counts of drug possession, while Martin faces one count.
Task force detectives, assisted by the sheriff’s special response team, announced they seized $3,100 in cash, 22 grams of fentanyl and 270 grams of cocaine from Hython’s residence, and 3 grams of cocaine, $1,300 in cash and a 9 mm handgun from Loveless’s home. Another 4 grams of fentanyl, 30 grams of cocaine and $1,800 in cash were seized from the home shared by Martin and Prentice, they said.
The task force is made up of Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies, officers from the Steubenville Police Department and Jefferson County prosecutors.
