DONALD WILLIAMSON
Donald J. Williamson, 86 of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania passed peacefully with his family at his side at his home on Monday, September 23, 2024.
Don was born on October 26, 1937, in Hanover Township, Washington County Pennsylvania to the late William G. and Eva Marie Rymer Williamson.
He retired as a Pipe Fitter from Weirton Steel where he was a member of the twenty-five club. A Presbyterian by faith, Don was a 1957, graduate of New Cumberland High School. Don’s family will cherish the many memories of family gatherings, especially the family poker games. Don also enjoyed playing softball, golf, and horseshoes. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves.
Along with his parents, his wife, Rosetta Williamson, his daughter, Dina Mader, and several siblings also preceded Don in death.
Don leaves his loving family, daughter, Ellen Christina (Perry) Parkin, his son, Robert Nick Mader, both of Paris, PA, his sister, Ilene of Virginia, six grandchildren, and several great-grand children.
Don’s family is planning a private gathering to celebrate his life. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is proud to assist the family with these arrangements.
