TERRY PERGI
Terry Pergi, a devoted wife, caring mother, passed on to glory, February 23, 2025. She was born on January 23, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Rocco and Grace Potenzina in Mingo Junction, Ohio. Her life was a celebration of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phil, and her cherished son, Phillip Rocco, Terry now joins them in eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy celebrated by all whose lives she touched.
Terry’s warm and generous spirit was the heart of her home. Her boundless hospitality, passion for cooking, and infectious humor brought comfort and joy to everyone she met. Whether through a delicious meal, a shared laugh, or a caring word, she nurtured her family–especially her grandchildren, to whom she was a beloved Nonni.
Deeply rooted in her faith, Terry maintained an intimate relationship with God that guided her through every challenge and triumph. Her spiritual devotion inspired those around her to live with compassion and gratitude, leaving an enduring example of faith and service.
Terry is survived by her sister Marlene (Lance) Sogan, children, Peter (Lisa), Tracy, and Brenan (Lisa), as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with interment to follow immediately at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
