ROBERT ENGLISH

Bob was a proud member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 490 of Steubenville since 1981. After Steubenville and Cambridge merged and became Local 495 he continued to follow the activities of his Union. He was very patriotic, an avid reader and enjoyed his Harley’s in his younger years. He also enjoyed Ohio State football and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was always an animal lover and had many pets throughout his life. He was a true friend and a devoted family man. Robert was Catholic by faith.

Bob will be missed and loved by wife, Terri Barker English, daughter BobbiLin Stoll (John) and step-son Jade Freiling (Connie), Sisters Bonnie Jenkins and MaryAnn (Candy) Kopras. Also, nephews Will Jenkins Jr. (Rebecca), George Mavromatis, Robert Mavromatis, and Jason Kopras; niece Kristen Jones (Kevin). Great nephew Kipton Jones and great nieces Kendall Jones, Abby Jenkins and Ella Jenkins. And his favorite cat Cleo.

Many thanks to all the staff at Weirton Medical Center, Trinity Home Health and Valley Hospice who took great care of his needs over the last several months. In addition, thanks to Pastor Clint Quillen for his many hospital visits and comforting prayers and to the entire Wintersville Methodist Church family for all their love and support through these difficult times.

He supported Tower to Tunnels, Paralyzed Veterans, Wounded Warriors and several other local charities.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11 am until time of services at 2 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, Fr. Michael Gossett will officiate. Burial will be private in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
