FREDERICK DAVIS
Frederick “Fred” Glenn Davis, 68, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Fred was born on December 27, 1956, in Steubenville, Ohio. Fred married the love of his life, Renee (Watts) Davis, and they had two daughters and a son, two sons-in- law and three grandchildren.
He loved his family most of all. He had a wonderful sense of humor. A passion for selling cars and working on the family farm driving the tractor with the grand kids.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Viola (Nix) and Glenn Davis; son, Zachary Glenn Davis; sister, Karen Davis; grandparents, Lloyd and Maude Davis, James Homer and Sadie Nix; uncles, Dean Davis, Wayne Davis, Donnel “Don” Davis, Lloyd P “Dale” Davis, Harold “Herb” Davis; aunts, Mary Frances Hutchinson and Larraine Nelson.
Fred is survived by his wife of 42 years, Renee Davis; daughters, Trista Cline (Steven) and Courtney Davis (Brenden Kaufman); grandchildren, Hailey, Beckett, and Silas Kaufman; sisters, Verna Mooney and Kathy Davis; uncle, Willard “Bill” Davis; his loyal dog Tyler; and many more family members.
Fred’s fighting spirit and strength endured throughout his cancer treatment. He was an inspiration to others with love of life and will to persevere throughout his battle with cancer.
Friends will be received at Everhart- Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. https://www.everhart- bovefuneralhomes. com/.
